Why I like Merc
London? Because I think it's one of the few firms today maintain that as urban
as british spirit which introduced the Mods at the time in the world of
fashion. Some, like Fred Perry, Ben Sherman or Longsdale reminiscences continue
it but for my taste, is the Merc has gotten better debug and adapt to changing
times without losing the touch that makes it special and unique.
One example is his Fall - Winter 2013 collection, a collection with British
heritage classic airs in their clothes (and modern ) and a very autumnal color
palette, however, is very warm at the same time. Better than ye yourselves who
will to take a look.
Found from such iconic outerwear such as parkas, with inner or the tartan
Harrington, to aviator jackets. The jerseys as a mixture of silk and point bet
on the trim on the collars and cuffs as it did with Fred Perry polos, and
include some other pattern in muted tones on shirts such as paisley, moles or
picture vichy.
The collection of accessories, one of the strengths of the firm, is reinforced
with casual style hand bags, some other more elegant, a collection of footwear
that found chelsea boots, dessert boots, shoes and a classic shape hybrid with
Dr.Martens and of course, a collection of scarves and hats to match the rest of
the collection.
In short, a very British collection with air and mods that are sure to be the
delight of the many fans who have this culture in fashion, with a modern twist
that does not abandon its traditional roots and above all with a great
versatility in clothes therefore to complete our wardrobe as to risk a total
signature look.
